Hello, my name is Jakk Ogden and I’m the senior editor, founder and owner of Technology Blogged. I’m a full time professional blogger and also a freelance online marketing specialist, contracting out to some of the fastest developing companies in the United Kingdom.

I love driving fast, travelling abroad and of course my Girlfriend, and two cats.

Technology Blogged is all about consumer technology, however my aim since I launched it has been to provide seriously useful information rather than off the fly pointless content. I am particularly proud of our features category, which is host to some truly fantastic articles.

I have various qualifications in business studies, marketing and advertising, however skipped university to concentrate on my own businesses and build up professional experience in what I love. Everybody who knows me would vouch for the fact that I am a dedicated entrepreneur, and being self-sufficient and working for myself is something I love day in day out. Essentially, whilst all of my friends we’re busy going out and studying for their degree, I was building up businesses and earning an incredibly solid income online.

Moving on and I originally founded this website as a student in college, because I wanted to write about smartphones and emerging technology trends, something that I had always been interested in since a child. I was 18 when I started this website, and I’m now 22, so it’s been going for 4 years however it was only in 2010 when it started to properly get off the ground with thanks to larger magazines linking to our stories.

We currently serve over 160,000 unique visitors per month and our demographics primarily consist of 18 – 28 year olds, a targeted audience which I’m particularly proud to have achieved bearing in mind I fit in to this category. Currently, Technology Blogged has:

Over 1100 RSS E-mail subscribers (I love you guys)

Over 2000 Twitter followers, @technoholicjakk, @tblogged (I also love you guys)

Over 2000 Facebook fans (I also also love you guys)

Over  100,000 unique visitors per month (Without you, there wouldn’t be a me).

For every day that I work on Technology Blogged and my other websites I work by the following guidelines; to respect all copyright, to check our facts, to control comments, to always give credit where due, to avoid bad neighborhoods and to always provide reponsible journalism.

The future

I aim to keep this website going for pretty much as long as I am alive, meaning you can expect it to keep on truckin’ for the foreseeable future. Hopefully within 3 years Technology Blogged will have become a seriously popular website around the world (it already is, but I have ambitions) and my own aim is to get our visitors up to 1 million per month.
