Apple A5 chip vs Samsung Exynos Processor

Apple’s A5 processor is the latest CPU to be integrated in to Apple’s products including the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4S. It’s main competitor when it comes to power consumption and pound for pound performance is the Samsung Exynos processor, acclaimed for it’s power efficiency. So today on top of running my very own website (this one, geniuses) I regularly read IT Pro portal because they, like me (and you), share the same interests when it comes to covering the latest technology news. It is safe to say then that their recent exclusive: Apple’s A5 chip vs the Samsung Exynos really caught my attention.
According to tests, Apple chose a rectangular design for their A5 chip (top die), which is fabbed by Samsung, while the Korean semiconductor firm, went for a square floor plan.
Anyway, this is an exclusive so I don’t want to take any weight from the original post, which you’ll be wanting to find here.
