Apple gives up embedded SIM Card plans for iPhone

It may come as news to some, but Apple has been toying with the idea of embedded SIM Cards within the next generation of iPhone’s for some time. Now however Apple has scrapped the plans, with network providers putting Apple on the naughty step.
Initial plans had suggested that the new embedded SIM cards would help Apple bypass the networks and let customers buy the phone without having to sign up to a lengthy contract, which puts many consumers off because the contract prices are high with UK mobile phone deals.
As featured in The Telegraph, a senior network provider source told The Telegraph:
“Apple has long been trying to build closer and closer relationships and cut out the operators. But this time they have been sent back to the drawing board with their tails between their legs.”
This comes as news as the iPhone 5 increasingly becomes a trending topic across the internet, with people throwing brand new feature claims around quite majestically.
