Apple iPad Mini Launch Date October?

Everybody in the technology world knows that the iPhone 5 or ‘new iPhone’ will be released in September with thanks to Apple booking their usual iPhone launch venue, however new rumours suggest that the as of yet unconfirmed iPad Mini will be released in October, meaning there will be two separate events. This would make sense, too, as to not take any of the PR away from each individual product upon launch.
Although unconfirmed, it is highly anticipated that Apple will release an iPad Mini this year, after the recent and obvious interest in 7-inch tablets from the likes of the Google Nexus 7. If an iPad Mini is released, it is pretty much obvious to the whole technology industry that it will take the majority market share in 7-inch tablets by the end of the year. That can be put down to the massive buzz surrounding Apple products, and their fan-base which far exceeds any other technology companies.
Unlike the Google Nexus 7, it is expected that the iPad Mini will feature 3G and 4G connectivity, something which Google missed out in order to keep the price of their excellent 7-inch tablet down. An aluminium back is also expected, in order to carry across the original 9.7″ iPad’s design, whilst gorilla glass will keep the front free from scratches.
An iPad Mini product from Apple has been talked about and hyped up for a number of years. Whilst the 9.7-inch iPad of today is fantastic and has sold by the millions, there is a definite market for 7-inch tablets and Apple’s new product, if priced right, could sweep people away from Google’s Nexus 7.
