Apple Now Worth $300 Billion
Apple shares have risen by more than seven points to 329.75
Apple has just surpassed the $300 Billion mark in market capitalization, which means that Apple is the second most valuable technology company in the world, being bested only by Exxon Mobil Corporation’s whopping $376 billion market capitalization, after Apple Inc. shares have rose by more than seven points to 329.75.
Apple’s success has come down to a fantastic 2010, where they sold 9.05 million iPods and 4.19 million iPads in the fourth quarter alone. Increasing their value by a staggering $50 billion in just six months, Apple is now worth over 6 times more than hit social networking site Facebook, and over 10 times more than Myspace.
