Apple Wins In Court, See’s $625 Million Patent Allegations Overtuned

Apple has won an appeal against a $625 million patent infringement lawsuit brought against it by Mirror Worlds, after a US district court judge overturned the original ruling. Mirror Worlds was first started by Professor David Gelernter of Yale, and the patent infringement allegations surrounded how you view data on a screen, and how Apple apparently infringed three of its patents in its Spotlight including Cover Flow.
The reasoning behind the court throwing the case was down to a lack of evidence, with Judge Leonard Davis claiming that Mirror Worlds failed to come up with tangible proof of patent infringement.
