Apple’s iOS 5 available from October 12th
Tuning in to Apple’s keynote event ‘Let’s talk iPhone’, and Apple have just announced that iOS 5 is to be released on the 12th of October, at last bringing an end to the months of wait iPhone users have had staring at the ‘coming this fall’ page on Apple’s website.
iOS 5 will bring with it new functionality to iPhone users, including advanced notifications as well as a camera release button as made with the + volume rocker. On top of this, Apple has interestingly announced that they are moving in to Moonpig’s market and are launching an app unsurprisingly names ‘Cards’, however this will only be available in the US and when it will be coming to the UK is very much unknown at this point in time.
