I guess I&#039;m just a bit of an oddball in that I don&#039;t really care for all of the additional functionality some of these programs offer. Regardless, thanks for the roundup. I didn&#039;t know about many of these iTunes alternatives.

When I classify an audio file (normally lectures, webcasts and books) as a Audio Book in itunes my ipod will allow me to play it at 1.5x the speed.  I have tried many itunes alternatives (winamp is the only one I see here, and that was many versions ago) and none ed me to designate files as audiobooks.  OR, and this is likely, i am a fool and i can not figure it out.  

Of these itune alternatives which allow for files to be designated aubiobooks and allow the ipod to run at the 1.5x speed?
