Five of the best iPhone game apps
Bring on the free games! Below are five of the best iphone game apps suggested to me by my fellow technoholics. I recieved 67 e-mails from people with the name of their favourite game, which had to be free and meet my own grading criteria which includes ease of use, the implementation of decent graphics, it couldn’t wear the battery down too quick, couldn’t be jerky and had to be free.
If you would like your game featured below, and my list extended to 6 I will be glad to add it. Send a comment and it shall be so.
Tap Defense
This game is brilliant. If you have ever played tower defense on the your PC or Mac via the internet you’ll know why. You get to place a variety of towers anywhere you like, which are completely upgradable of course, and the aim is to not let any demons or the likes through the pearl gates. Utter and complete fun is this, and before you know it you have been on it for over an hour.
iBowl
At first it was a rip off of Wii sports, a smaller attempt of something that was so great. A lot has changed. And now its second in my list. All you have to do with this is swing your handset to see how well you can score, and so for functionaility this is App is top notch. If you haven’t tried it go for it, you’ll never look back.
Live Poker
Clearly a lot of my readers are gamblers – haha. Mind, I love poker. And so this has to be on my list – infact, even if this wasn’t a top 5 it’d still be on the list (yes I am corrupt, a dirty cop if you like). Even if you are a poker virgin it is so easy to get the hang of it, and the interface in the iPhone makes this App truly intuitive.
Tap tap Defense 1,2 and 3
Need I explain? This is a great game and if I had my way would be number one, with the archive of songs available for playing, a brilliant interface and with the latest updates including online play this will always be a great App and a top hit. Even the background graphic is clearly taken from a Mac.
iGolf
iGolf is a great game. Possibly a little bit Wii inspired, the controls are intuitive, the graphics good and the jerkiness non existent. Just swing your iPhone and compare your shots online via a global leaderboard.
