iOS 5.0.1 does not fix iPhone 4S battery problems, say users

According to a number of reports including one on technology website ZDnet, iOS 5.0.1 the latest version and update to Apple’s mobile operating system which aimed to fix a number of battery issues, has not worked for some iPhone 4S users. Some iPhone 4S users are also even claiming that the latest iOS update has made the initial battery drainage problem even worse and as IT Pro Portal notes, one angry customer took to the Apple support forum on the issue to express their concerns, whilst others have joined in:
“After update my 4S is the same if not worse. We know now this is definitely a hardware issue. This phone is just not practical for everyday use.” One user said on the Apple Support Forum.
Other users are stating that this battery issue is getting ridiculous, that Apple have finally released a Vista smartphone and that the issue is so bad, sometimes they literally see that battery percentage dwindle before their eyes. The question is, has the iOS 5.0.1 update fixed your battery issue? Be sure to let us know.
[Update: FYI, we are aware the image above is not an official Apple slide. It was meant to portray features some users did want from their iPhone's in iOS 5, including one they most obviously did not want underlined in red.]

I am afraid that the only solution is higher capacity battery pro iPhone
4S. Apple can make some tweaks in iOS 5.0.2, but iPhone 4S itself is
very energy inefficient…
