iPad 2 surfaces in China, is this the next gen iPad?
There have been far too many iPad 2 mock ups over the last month, both in terms of physical hardware and concept designs, but the latest is being outed as the ‘real deal’ by technology websites across the world.
All of these images originally surfaced in China, and they show an iPad which is distinctly different to the current generation. Features on this one from these images include a slimmer profile, a flat back, bigger speaker, front and rear facing cameras and a particularly un-astounding look.
The one thing that is interesting about these images is that the actual rear surface of the supposedly legit iPad 2 looks to be made of plastic (check out the first image light reflection). This would lead us to presume that this is a cheap Chinese knock off, but we’ll leave it at that and let you decide what’s what.
