iPad 3 Retina Display will come, according to sources
We’re back again with rumours, and yes we know that the iPad 2 has only just been released and hot on the horizon is the iPhone 5, but rumours are what make the world go round and naturally we can only oblige but to contribute to them. The latest rumour in the mill is that the iPad 3 will get a 326dpi pixel density display, in line with the iPhone 4′s Retina Display, and this rumour comes from Bloomberg who’s sources claim that Apple is currently testing out the upgraded display, most probably to see how battery life fares with it running Apple’s latest software update, iOS 5.
Currently both the iPad and iPad 2 have a screen of 1024×768 pixels which is behind the Honeycomb pack of 1280×800, and an upgraded display would make a welcome addition to the next-gen iPad.
