The iPad prices start at $499. That, no doubt, is for the lower end 16GB model and the prices will probably be over $999 for the 64GB model. From watching the event the iPad will only be available in the US until June 2010 which is a bit of a bummer for people who live, in say, Europe. But not to be at loss, atleast we’ll have something to look forward to eh? .

If you would rather pay monthly for your iPad, much like a mobile phone contract sim only deal or a  3G USB Stick laptop deal, prices could vary accordingly. Here is an official picture of what to expect;

The iPad 3G Models are also unlocked – and so you can use any sim micro GSM card in it – as long as it carries 3G data speeds.
