iPhone 4 could be recalled, boosting 3G S sales

With news that Microsoft Chief Operating Officer Kevin Turner was recently quoted as saying the iPhone 4 could be Apple’s Windows Vista due to increasing antenna issues, as of yet there has been no real solution as to how to stop your iPhone 4′s signal from dropping.
And now comes some new news – consumers are becoming increasingly warry about buying an iPhone 4, and shelling out another load of money for a bumper, which has increased mobile.co.uk’s demand on the iPhone 3G S which boasts all the updates which came with iOS 4. Whats more, the 3G S is a whole lot cheaper and has been recommended by Consumer Reports over Apple’s latest offering, with Consumer Reports saying that they ‘cannot recommend’ the iPhone 4.
However, the ‘Bumper’ < an accessory shipped with your iPhone 4 at an additional cost stops any antenna issues which your iPhone 4 may be having. And so if you are willing to pay even more money on your phone, when you could have a 3G S at a much cheaper price, then this is the solution for you. If you are not, then the mobile phone for you (if any other brand seems bland to you) is the iPhone 3G S.
Recall
Apple is a highly proud company and one which, given the opportunity, would never fess up to one of their products being faulty or having a design flaw. On this basis, and although some of Apple’s products in the past have been refunded on a mass basis due to faults, you do have to say that Apple is just not willing to increase any overheads they already have with the iPhone 4 and will not recall a damn thing.
But do not rule out a complete ‘batch recall’ as it is early days for the iPhone 4, and as not many have been shipped yet it would be wiser for Apple if they were thinking of doing such a thing to do it sooner rather than later.

I’d get a 3G S IMO.
