Orange: “No white iPhone 4’s in the UK until the end of the year”

The iPhone 4 White keeps getting its launch date put on hold.
For people who want an iPhone 4 White Edition things just keep cropping up and getting worse, and now Orange have sent an e-mail to their customers saying the the iPhone 4 White will not be available until the ‘end of 2010′. Below is the actual e-mail contents of what orange has said:
We wanted to let you know that there won’t be any white iPhone 4’s in the UK until the end of the year.
If you’re happy to wait another few months we’ll let you know as soon as they’re back in stock. want an iPhone 4 now?
Alternatively, if you want it now, click here or visit your local Orange shop to get the iPhone 4 Black 16GB or 32GB today. Best wishes
Orange
The reasoning behind exactly why the White Edition of the iPhone 4 has not yet hit consumers pockets is not clear, with many people speculating that Apple are in fact replacing and / or testing new antennas for the white model, which has left iPhone 4 Black owners in the dark. Other reasons include the ‘shade of White’ being hard to manufacture, as well as Apple being racist – although thats ridiculous, albeit funny.

Its getting god damn ridiculous this, all I want is a white one (girly colour) and Apple are taking the mick. Might just get a bloody Android handset this week.
Just get the black one lol!
Well my husband has the black one so I just want to be different!
@Hibertruck. Sorry to hear you are in wait for an iPhone 4 white. Unfortunately it really does look like Apple could be trying out new antennas for the white version, which means you could be in for a treat as you could not have the reception issues like iPhone 4 Black users are experiencing, it could be worth the wait to be honest.
If you really can’t wait then try getting a black version and a white bumper, it is a great combo!
At lease it’s coming now. I was beginning to doubt that we would ever see it, considering that by Christmas we are halfway to the next version of the iPhone, assuming Apple are sticking to the once a year refresh that has happened so far. If they are having manufacturing issues then supply could well be short as well.
