What do you get when you poll 1,694 British adults and question them on whether they regret ever purchasing the Apple iPhone? Well apparently, you get 22% of them agreeing on just that. According to research conducted by mobile website goodmobilephones.co.uk, of a total of 1,694 users polled a whole 22% of them regret buying Apple’s iPhone with key reasons for this being that there are better smartphone alternatives on the market, as well as the iPhone not having a good enough battery life.

The unhappy users have quite the right to disapprove of the Apple handset though; the likes of the Nokia Lumia 800 and Samsung Galaxy Nexus are key examples of new to market smartphones which outperform Apple’s offering for something fresh and unique (Android 4.o, poly-carbonate body). Overall, 22% isn’t even a quarter of those polled however, so it would have been very interesting to see the exact same poll go out to Samsung Galaxy S II users* to give us a comparison.
