Siri not coming to iPhone 4 confirms Apple, but we knew that

Think about this; how many unique selling points does the iPhone 4S have over the iPhone 4? Well apart from a dual-core processor, rearranged antennae, an updated camera and Siri, there isn’t a lot. The only real-world interesting upgrade listed above is Siri then, a personal assistant allowing one to ask questions and arrange meetings through the power of voice, but if the iPhone 4 had this feature when you updated to iOS 5 I think 50% of people wouldn’t bother upgrading their smartphone. In many ways, to me personally, Siri is the only exciting feature about the iPhone 4S.
It makes no surprise to me then that Apple has confirmed the iPhone 4 will not be getting Siri in the future, with that feature being reserved for iPhone 4S clientele only. The confirmation comes from the Michael Steeber blog, and read in a feedback reply to the Apple reporter “Engineering has provided the following feedback regarding this issue: Siri only works on iPhone 4S and we currently have no plans to support older devices”.
Of course, we already knew this because why would Apple make an upgrade to the 4S a rather pointless process?
