Paypal is down / not working for me, anybody else?
The date is the 21st of November 2011, and the time here in the UK is 7.00pm at the time of writing this sentence. I have personally not been able to log in to my business Paypal account now for over 24 hours.There is no news coverage of this. Now, usually I wouldn’t be concerned over this, however the Paypal home page loads perfectly fine, with it being just the log in page which seems to screw itself over again and again by timing itself out. Keen to prove I haven’t been losing the plot I also went to http://www.downornot.com/ and fired in the Paypal web address to which, low and behold, the Down Or Not Tool told me Paypal is down with error ‘Timeout while connecting’.
Am I the only person this is happening to? Between me and a few authors, we’ve tried using IE, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari and resetting our routers, calling our ISP’s to no avail. There is no coverage anywhere of this today. I feel a little bit useless not being able to manage my money. I long to transfer the fruits of my labor. Grr. Get it sorted Paypal.
[Update: Sorted now. Only the lord almighty knows what was happening.]

I cannot get the home page up nor pay via any ecommerce site that features paypal… . I’m in PST in the US. rawr.

i have been trying paypal now for 3 days and cannot even access the page…feel sorry for people selling on ebay, have had to cancel 3 items i wanted to buy. Anyone know of any other money transfer sites similar to paypal?
