HTC’s “Eternity” leaks out, brings big screen, big specs.

[ 1 ] Posted by on June 30, 2011

Well, chalk up yet another loss for HTC’s crack “please stop leaking our top secret phone plans” squad, and yet another victory for the friendly tipsters from around the globe, specifically HtcInside. So what do we have here, then? Well, from the looks of it HTC has taken to raising the game once again for Windows Phone 7  with a frankly gigantic 4.7inch Super LCD screen, which brings it within spitting distance of the original massive phone/small tablet Dell Streak. Alongside that, you’ll be rocking some Snapdragon architecture running at 1.5GHz, snapping photos in 8MP, filming at 720p and video conferencing with a 1.3MP front facing camera. All this beautiful technology wrapped up in HTC’s stellar build quality.

Of course, The Eternity is still just a leak (albeit a highly plausible one) so we’ve got no dates as to when you’ll be able to wrap your hands around the beautiful WP7 wunderphone, but when we know, you’ll know. Promise!

4.7″  Seriously, bigger isn’t necessarily better in the mobile phone department.  There has got to be a goddamn limit.  F-ing stop this ridiculous sh-t already…it is really getting out of control.  I mean, why don’t we build a phone the size of an iPad and call it a day?!  STUPID!!!!
