iTar app-and-accessory turns your iPad in to a guitar, helps you rock on
Guitar enthusiasts take note; if you have an iPad then there is a new accessory which will turn it into a guitar. Yes, the iTar app-and-accessory promises to help you rock on, and works by simply docking your tablet in to the holder and then launching a dedicated app. As for how to control your iPad and make it in to a guitar, the iTar accessory makes use of patented button fretboard technology as used by professional musicians, and as for prices you are looking at $200 per unit if you are tempted and once they are made.
The concept of this accessory was brought to fruitition by the Kickstarter project, and on the official Kickstarter page the creators say:
Our project is designed for musicians, guitar heroes, electronic artists, iPad junkies and hackers looking for a fun and easy way to take their show on the road. At it’s heart the device is a button-based guitar fretboard (Starr Labs patented fingerboard) integrated with a dock for the iPad which will transform the tablet into a 21st century musical instrument we call the iTar ™.
Overall and from the video this product looks like an extremely high quality accessory, and we would love to try one out in the near future.
