Phosphor’s Crystal Watches Look Amazing, Make Us Drool

It is so easy to get your glasses all steamed up when staring at a high end jewellery store on Oxford street, or any other street in the world for that matter, but I have never ever found myself quite literally feeling like I need to have a specific watch from an image on the internet.

That is until now. Before you jump to conclusions about my personal taste it is not the fact that Phosphor watches have crystals, or that they are flashy, but because of the way they work and the technology they use that has attracted me to them.

On the Phosphor website they state that an “electrical pulse generates an electromagnetic field that changes the position of the crystals on the face of the watch, to elegantly display the passing time, while producing a distinctive sound unique to the Phosphor Reveal digital watch line”.

How cool does that sound? Yeah, pretty damn sweet. It sounds so sweet in fact that I might just go and splash some cash out on one, and at $210, they are significantly cheaper than the Oxford street store I just passed.
