The 128GB USB Stick from Corsair: Looks like a small fat fish

This is the 128GB Corsair USB stick. And god is it big, looks like a 2GB stick pumped up on steroids doesn’t it?.

I mean who needs a 128GB USB stick? You do? oh, okay. . . well it costs $400 and is pretty bulky to say the least.

To me it looks like a massive baby bottle but with a normal nipple – off putting to say the least. And not only that but put it alongside a  normal USB stick and heres what you get:

. . . reminds me of a scene in jaws where somebody is trying to frantically swim away from a man eating shark – and fails miserably.

It is very practical though in terms of what it functions to do, and if you say have a 120GB worth of music and buy a new PC or Mac then transferring them over could be painless – mind you, with external hard drives far cheaper who’d want one?

The good points

Looks like a fish (Hey I like fish)

Doesn’t come with the smell of fish

120GB Storage

Supposedly super fast

The bad points

It may be fast, but its size will probable slow you down – a bit like giving somebody a piggy back

Very pricey for such a small pice of kit.

The Verdict?

I am sure a 4GB USB stick will do you fine accompainied by a 250GB external hard drive < that would suit a majority of people. If you do have $400 to chuck away I have a load of things you can spend it on other than this – me for example :D . And so I have to disapprove of this, besides, my cat might be tempted to eat it.
