3D Smartphones: Are they a gimmick? [VOTE]
2010 was the year of the Android phone, hitting sky high market shares and app numbers in it’s marketplace. 2011 is set to be the year of the ipad 2 year of 3D smartphones, and at this years MWC LG unveiled the first full 3D smartphone which will go on sale to consumers around the world very soon.
So are you all for 3D in portable consumer electronics or do you feel that this type of technology has no place in the world of already power hungry battery-draining mobile devices? I voted gimmick. 3D smartphones would have a BAD effect on battery life.

Although I do like cheesecake, voting gimmick helps me feel better knowing that this useless feature will not be made mainstream on my watch.
