The iPhone is one of the most sought after smartphones today and with the iPhone 5 just around the corner, which will be even more advanced that its predecessor, it will come as no surprise to you that we recommend the S II over the iPhone 4 currently.

Just like the Samsung Galaxy S of 2010, mobile phones providers appear to be stepping up their game in order to rival Apple smartphones and the Samsung Galaxy S2, which also takes the name of the GT i9100, is our very favourite alongside the HTC Sensation.

Overall, the specifications make this state of the art handset is very tempting to new users, so much in fact that such specifications may sway the general public to purchase this exact handset over the iPhone.

In regards to each handsets measurement, the Samsung Galaxy S2 comes in at 125.3 by 66.1mm with a width of 8.49mm and measures just 117g.

The iPhone 4 is smaller in size length ways but weighs a little more than the Samsung Galaxy S and boasts a weight of 137g.

In regards to display, both handsets are very impressive, some may argue that the Samsung’s display is in fact more superior due to it being larger in size. Both differ however on the display front, the Samsung Galaxy S houses Super AMOLED Plus, whilst the iPhone 4 features LCD with IPS.

One major difference of both phones is the camera quality. The Samsung offers up an 8MP camera, whilst the iPhone 4 only houses a 5MP camera. The Galaxy S II also features other qualities that the iPhone doesn’t, such as a micro SD card, which is great for those that require a little more space than is standard. Both phones however can be purchased in a size of either a 16 or 32GB

Plus the Galaxy S2 destroys the iphone 4 in terms of hardware since it has a 1.2GHZ dual core as opposed to 1 GHZ single core, plus it has double the RAM.
