Lenovo wants to launch the first Windows 8 tablet, late 2012

Have you turned on your laptop and downloaded Microsoft’s Windows 8 consumer preview yet? Well we are betting Lenovo had some on hands time with it before any of us mere consumers, which will be why they are hoping to release the worlds first ever Windows 8 tablet as soon as October of this year. The tablet, of which we have no specific technical specifications, is being hinted as sporting a form factor similar to that of the CES unveiled IdeaPad Yoga, which rocked a 13.3-inch display, QWERTY keyboard and a hinge which allowed the device to transform into a functional laptop.
Of course, this news is all rumours currently, but it does come from The Verge so has credibility to back it up.

I was waiting to buy the new iPad, but it looks like I should do more waiting if this product is only 5 months away. Any word on the price for this gadget?
No word on pricing at the moment and also no word on specifications.
