LG Optimus 2X and 3D customers to get Ice Cream Sandwich update
The LG Optimus 2X is a bit of a funny device. On the one hand, it made the Guinness World Records for being the world’s first dual-core smartphone, however on the other it was overshadowed within a matter of months by a range of better marketed dual-core smartphones released after it. Keen to keep 2X customers happy then, LG have confirmed that the smartphone will receive an Ice Cream Sandwich update along with other high-range handsets such as the Optimus 3D, via their Facebook page.
As for when it will be available LG states you’ll have to stay tuned for the latest, but early December to January looks likely for the update.
