LG is all set to step in to the realm of quad-core smartphones this year, the first of which is expected to be the LG Optimus 4X HD. The LG Optimus 4X HD will feature a gob smacking 1.5GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and just for reference, this smartphone would completely own the LG Optimus Max in a one on one fight, also set to be released this year.
The LG Optimus 4X HD on top of featuring the quad-core goodies above is also going to get an extremely beautiful display; a 4.7-inch 1280x720p IPS True HD screen to be exact. So, then, it looks like this smartphone is fully going to live up to its 4X and HD credentials. LG have also made the rather bold and awesome decision to go with Google’s Android Ice Cream Sandwich as the operating system marking it as LG’s first ever Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone from the box.
Release date wise one can expect the LG Optimus 4X HD to be available sometime in the second quarter of this year, and we personally can’t wait to have a bit of hands on time with it!PS: Digging this story, news or review? Let us know! Comments open.
