Nokia Symbian Anna update finally here, coming August
Yeah yeah we all know how confusing Nokia is at the moment, what with them openly stating they are ditching Symbian in 2012 for Windows Phone 7 and their very latest (albeit fantastic looking handset) the Nokia N9 packing MeeGo OS, but that doesn’t mean Nokia isn’t committed to updates for current users.
Called Anna, the new Symbian update will bring current Symbian users a fresher look, and new features such as faster web browsing, new icons, improved maps and importantly enhanced text input. Nokia has revealed on top of this update that its N8, C7 and E7 will start shipping with the brand new version of Symbian in July, whilst current devices will have to wait until August.
