Nokia’s N9 will not reach US, you’ll have to get over it

Nokia’s hot off the press N9 MeeGo handset may look great with its sleek lines and untuitive UI, however for people over in the US we regret to report that it won’t be reaching your shores at the time it does Europe or the rest of the world (and it might never), after Nokia let slip a little something after would be customers enquired about shipping dates of the N9.
In reply to enquiries, Nokia let slip that the smartphone will not be getting released in the US.
“After the very positive reception to the launch of the Nokia N9, the product is now being rolled out in countries around the world. At this time we will not be making it available in the US.” Nokia have said.
Nokia’s N9 handset packs a 3.9-inch display, a durable aluminium build and of course runs the very good looking MeeGo OS. We ourselves are a little bit confused as to Nokia’s decision with this, however with the world watching them, it wouldn’t surprise us if the reasoning behind the no US launch was in fact down to Nokia putting all their faith in to Windows Phone 7 for US success.
