Samsung announces Galaxy S II sales, three million sold
Our coverage of the Galaxy S II over the course of this year has been what some people might call a little bit obsessive. We have covered Samsung handing out free S II’s, whether the S II is better than an iPhone 4, when the S II overtook the iPhone 4 in UK charts and we have also reviewed the Galaxy S II. True to trend, we have decided to publish this latest news that Samsung has let fly their sales figures for this flagship handset, and unsurprisingly they are very high indeed. Announced by Samsung themselves, the Korean giant has sold over 3 million handsets worldwide, making the handset the fastest selling handset in the history of Samsung and the only true contender to Apple’s iPhone 4 and upcoming iPhone 5.
