After a highly anticipated event Samsung has finally unveiled their next generation ‘Nexus’ branded smartphone, and in the process brought out a very healthy competitor to the iPhone 4S and HTC Sensation XE smartphone. Coverage by Jakk Ogden.

Well it would seem that Motorola has just had their media attention wiped out, as Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus has been finally officially unveiled and brings with it some stock Android Ice Cream Sandwich goodness, along with some serious specifications which will get consumers all hot and bothered. So what are this handsets selling points, and why should you look at getting one? Well, for starters there is this handsets 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with Android Ice Cream sandwich – and for anybody who has had a laggy experience with Android in the past, the Galaxy Nexus has been developed closely for the latest versions of Google’s operating system, with what looks like on heck of a lot of optimization to make it incredibly fast.
As the Galaxy Nexus is also from Samsung, it makes use of Samsung’s lovely display technology, and packs a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display to watch media content and play all your favorite apps.
