Skype Video Calling on Android

You have to admit, Skype’s Video Chat device support is rather low, up until now, that is. They’ve introduced video chat to a wide (atleast wider) range of Android devices, rather than the measly 4 that had been previously supported. If you have a fairly recent phone from Samsung, HTC or Sony Ericsson (excluding the Arc), and of course, the LG Revolution and the Acer A5, then you are probably in luck. Running Gingerbread is a must, though, as Froyo or below will only allow you to use the rear camera, which obviously isn’t going to be too easy to chat with or do phone conferencing.

Have a look at the source link and take a look at the full list of supported handsets and please let us know if you run into any problems. Of course, in the future Skype will be aiming to make their programme cross compatible with all smartphones, however when this will actually become a reality is anybodies guess.
