Xperia Pro may hit UK October, 8 months after launch?
Something has gone seriously wrong with Sony Ericsson logistics. A whole 5 months after its initial release, the Xperia Pro is finally going to be landing in the UK, with a launch date of October expected after the Carphone Warehouse updated their availability to from October. This comes as Sony Ericsson stand by their claims of a July launch, however if The Carphone Warehouse is anything to go by, the Xperia Pro will be hitting consumers a whole 8 months after its initial launch.
The Xperia Pro is an Xperia Play double, however swaps over a gamepad for a QWERTY keyboard and it is aimed at business professionals. Feature wise, you’re looking at a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, a 3.7-inch 854×480 pixel display with enhanced Mobile Bravia Engine, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, HDMI and a 8.1-megapixel camera.
