STM Jet Laptop Bag Review

Rating:

(9/10).
If you’re reading this website (I assume you are if you can see these words) it’s probably a safe assumption to make that you’re going to own a bunch of gadgets, everything from mobiles phones to laptops, tablets and e-readers. That means you’re probably going to want some kind of item to hold all these things, a mythical creation that has specific pockets that protects and secures your devices while you’re on the move. Enter the STM Jet, a backpack for precisely what I just described. Read on to find out what I thought about it.
Review: Appearance, comfort

The Jet is a very inconspicuous laptop bag, we had it in medium (for 15″ laptops) and while either sat by my feet in airports or on my back during a walk it never screamed out that it held my most expensive possessions inside it nor looked unsightly. In use I found it extremely comfortable, the back and shoulders are very well padded and weight is distributed excellently across the back meaning walking long distances never becomes a chore.
One thing I did notice on my review backpack was that the zip over the front pouch sometimes got stuck, but that’s just a minor manufacturing defect that likely only happened to mine, the rest of the bag is extremely well built and durable feeling, and the whole thing instills confidence when carrying your possessions around.
Carrying ‘stuff’
The STM is a fairly small backpack, but I managed to squeeze a fairly substantial amount of things inside it during my travels. In a trip from England to Switzerland I loaded it up with a DSi, Kindle, Samsung Q330 laptop, all my papers, keys, documents and my passport and (not to mention all the chargers needed) and still managed to fit a sandwich and a drink in there with more than a little room to spare. The Jet handles space ridiculously well, so well in fact that on the way back I managed to stuff yet another laptop inside it and never felt the strain on my back.
Wrap up
The Jet is hands down one of my favourite gadget minded backpacks, stupidly comfortable, well built and spacious it’s a recommended purchase for anyone who’s going to need to be connected on their travels. Now all you need is to finally book that holiday and to stop reading reviews about backpacks
.
TB Verdict: 9/10
