iPad 2 pricing still competitive

In terms of going out an purchasing a tablet pc you are particularly spoilt for choice currently. First up you have the iPad 2, Apple’s latest generation tablet which brings with it a dual-core processor and amazing graphics capabilities over the previous generation. Next up you have the iPad 2′s main competitor (in our opinion) the Galaxy Tab 10.1 with an awesome design, and alongside this you have the Motorola Xoom and Eee Pad Transformer to choose from.
The latest tablet in to the market though above all the others is the HP Touchpad, which although a great piece of hardware, costs exactly the same as a 16GB Wifi only iPad 2, but is it as good? Well from early reviews such as on CNET, and Engadget, the tablet itself hasn’t received the greatest of reviews particularly because of the lack of apps HP’s WebOs comes with. Overall we’d say it is a good enough tablet to warrant a purchase, though, but what your purchase is going to ultimately boil down to is how you prefer your user experience (and ultimately where your OS allegiance lies). The HP Touchpad would be ideal for anybody who would like to multi task properly on their tablet and also enjoy stunning operating system effects. On the whole, i’d say the Touchpad is more of a party piece act than the iPad 2, whilst the iPad 2 is probably better for business users with the large range of productivity applications available for it (and games, and lots of other apps too).
