Olive Pad VT100: 7 inch Android 2.1 Tablet PC with voice capability

Tablet PC’s seem to be hot on the agenda of multiple brands worldwide and there seems to be no stopping the amount soon to be flooding the market. The latest one, Named the Olive Pad VT100, India’s first 3.5G Android 2.1 device, is a 7 inch tablet offering voice capability, a pretty slick looking 800 x 480 resolution on a capacitive touchpanel, Bluetooth, an SD card slot, WiFi, 512MB of internal memory (plus 512MB ROM), a 3.5mm audio jack, 3 megapixel camera, mini USB socket and a 3,240mAh battery. Hot on the spec sheet for this latest tablet is also a front facing camera, which could make this thing quite the catch.

Release dates for the Olive Pad are misty at best, however expect it to flood the Indian market within the next few months – a UK and European launch date has not been specified or implied.
