Acer “Not Phasing Out Netbooks”, Tablets to take place beside them
Acer has recently sweeped in to defend itself against a wordwide rumour that they are to step out of the netbook market and focus on tablet PC’s and have published a statement regarding the rumour.
On this, Acer have stated that “…the range of devices available to users is getting wider and tablets are just another piece of the mosaic. Therefore, they will find their space next to netbooks and notebooks.”
Acer as of yet have not released a Tablet PC and rumours surrounding these have also been published worldwide. Thankfully, this statement has cleared up any confusion about new tablets from Acer and the fact that they are on their way.
