Advent Vega Retailing At A Staggering £199.99

The Vega runs Android 2.2
Hot on the search for the worlds best deals on Tablet PC’s has its ups and downs. During that search you’ll either find a fantastic product at an upmarket price or a bad product at a low price, so finding something in between these two is something of a rarity. Dixons however has just cut the price of the Advent Vega Tablet PC by a staggering £49, which means you can get your hands on one for the very tempting price of £199.99, a whole £200 cheaper than the iPad 2 and over £150 cheaper than its Android brother counterparts.
So what is so great about the Advent Vega, and is it worth £199.99? Well for starters the Vega has a 10.1-inch WSVGA capacitive touchscreen display, a dual core chipset (the Nvidia Tegra 2) which has been clocked at 1GHz and includes 512MB RAM. Onboard storage is just a mere 4.5GB but the Vega has an SD card slot which is expandable up to 32GB, which will set you back around £27 on top of the RRP.
Overall i’d say that the Advent Vega is in fact a better Tablet PC than the Samsung Galaxy Tab and on spec with the iPad 2.
