Android 2.2 Froyo Rules The Android Market

Well well well! Android 2.2 Froyo is the most actively used version of Google’s Android software according to recent figures revealed (see image above). Interestingly if you take a look at Android 2.2 as a percentage and merge that with Android 2.1 you will find that 90% of Android users are using these versions on their devices, which means that although Gingerbread is now out there seems to be a distinct problem with activating devices with the most recent version of the OS (taking in to account some devices will not be seeing it).
To sum up Android’s growth from the graph above we can determine that Android is accelerating in growth however not as fast as some may have thought, or at least on the updating growth that is.
