Android Ice Cream Sandwich coming next month
The release date for Android Ice Cream sandwich has come much sooner than I expected, although that may be because this year has flown by with thanks to my increasingly chaotic work load (and moving house). Either way, Android Ice Cream Sandwich is coming soon, and Eric Schmidt has said that it’ll be coming in Oct/Nov of this this year. This adds on to recent rumors regarding Google’s next generation Nexus handset which is set to make an appearance around the same time. Features i’d like to see in the “Nexus Prime” are a dual-core 1.4GHz CPU and 4-inch display.
Android Ice Cream Sandwich is set to be a combination of Gingerbread and Honeycomb combined once released and bring with it tablet functionality for smartphones, a concoction which you do have to say would be perfect on the Samsung Galaxy Note.
