Apple confident of Macbook Air sales, increases component production
If anybody ever said that the Macbook Air is a slightly out-dated product in terms of hardware don’t tell Apple, because incredibly they are so confident of sales for their Macbook line that they have been in contact with their components manufacturers to double the production for the third quarter of this year in comparison to the previous one.
According to Digitimes, shipments for the Macbook Air were 2.2-2.4 million in June, and in July, those shipments are expected to surge up to 2.7-2.8 million units; “Shipments of parts and components for MacBook lineups totaled an equivalent of 2.2-2.4 million MacBooks in June, and orders for July are likely to top 2.7-2.8 million units.” Said DigiTimes.
