Chip Yates Hits 190Mph On Electric Motorbike, Sounds Great
When it comes to thrills nothing can beat the feeling a bike on a wide bendy country road, and a lot of this is down to sound and downshifting from high revs which can occasionally sound rather sensual. This is where a problem starts though, because in the world of electrical transport noise has a neglible part in production.
Moving back on topic, and you’ll see that the image above is a rather flash looking bike which quite amptly says ‘Chip Yates’ on it, who (you guessed it) is riding the thing. As you can see in the video below the 241HP electric bike wasted no time in getting up to that speed, and also wasted no time getting into an unsettling head shake and speed weave. Thankfully it was all over in less than 30 seconds and the new (unofficial) record for an electric bike was recorded: 190.6MPH.
