Dell Latitude Tablet S up for pre-order now, will it be in your business stocking?
Of all the tablet’s we have seen manufacturers design and create over the last 2 years, the Dell Latitude Tablet S is perhaps one of the blockiest. In the image above you can see the real deal, and it weighs in at (wait for it)… 816g. Yep, 816g. That’s near enough twice the weight of a Blackberry Playbook, and 76g more than a HP TouchPad which is near enough as far as we’d like any tablet to go on the weight scale at 714g. But what do you get for this weight? Well, inside you’ll get an Intel Atom Z670 CPU and Windows 7, leading us to presume this isn’t aimed at the consumer market at all, but rather 100% at the business market. I certainly wouldn’t have one in my stocking this Christmas, even if it was re-enforced with titanium to hold 816g. Follow the source link below if $859 sounds tempting.
