Fujitsu Shows The World First MeeGo Netbook

Well then, just when it appeared that MeeGo didn’t have a terrifically long life span left in the world of consumer electronics due to Nokia ditching it for Windows Phone 7, Fujitsu has come to the rescue of MeeGo fans around the world by unveiling the first ever MeeGo powered netbook.
It’s hard to say whether or not this product is a late launcher from Fujitsu, who developed a product thinking MeeGo was going to take off in the near future, but either way, the netbook itself looks like a typical example (and alternative) to all current netbooks on the market.
It’s called the Fujitsu MH330, and to be honest, the only redeeming feature about this netbook is the fact that it runs an OS which is hard to come by now. Under the hood you’ll find a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive and a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 LED-backlit screen. Fujitsu has also stated that “it has customized MeeGo to take advantage of hardware buttons”.
We’ll keep you noted of a UK launch, but price wise in the US it’ll be around $400.
