CSL TV advert: How obvious can Apple product placement be?

In an obvious need for some new marketing strategy or public relations agencies, CSL has gone above and beyond product placement. Companies and brands have managed to throw in their products to television adverts for a while now, with the average consumer not really noticing that it was put there on an advertisement perspective or for a reason. But this new CSL advert makes you ponder on exactly whether they are marketing their Sofa range or Apple’s products.
Straight away, and after a few sofa prices, you’ll be greeted by a fantastically obvious in your face Macbook Pro with two good looking models, who clearly want to get paid and truck on out of there, peering at the CSL website. This follows to show an iPhone 4, iPad, another Macbook Pro, another iPhone 4 and then yet more iPhone 4 pornography – all accompanied by lots of sliding, scrolling and gawping.
In short, the new CSL advert makes me want an iPhone 4, iPad and Macbook Pro more than one of their Sofa’s. Anyway, heres the stupid advert for you all to raise your eyebrows at.
