Who is going to get Google Fiber broadband?

This map shows the amount of communities and Governments who applied for Google Fiber
Google has already entered the ISP market by giving Stanford University students a taste of their broadband, with Google reporting that the trial is showing broadband speeds of up to one gigabit per second – or around 100 times faster than typical Internet access.
But back in February, Google announced a lucky community by the end of this year would be getting it. Now, however, this has been postponed due to a huge demand from thousands of communities in the US. Above is the map of this, with the beige dots being actual governments who applied.
Google will be giving from 50,000 and 500,000 users this Fiber broadband, however the initial application process is now officially closed. The Google selection process is now however being extended into the beginning of 2011. Google, if you are listening, give the UK Fiber too!
