Love the thought of Google’s augmented reality concept, yet haven’t found the Google Glass answers you have been looking for? Well Babak Parviz, head of the Google Glass project, has hinted at what we can expect next in an interview with Spectrum.ieee. For those not in the know, Project Glass is essentially an ambitious development program which aims to produce a fully functional augmented reality head mounted display of which both businesses and consumers can use. A short while back we published an infographic on Google Glass, detailing the current development of the products as well as their application amongst numerous different professional fields.
Moving back to that interview, and as well as talking about the concept behind Google Glass, Parviz went on to note a couple of important things. Firstly, Google currently has no plans to display advertising on the device, and secondly Parviz himself finds the thought of Google Now on a product like Google Glass interesting. We have linked to the full interview above for those digging this story.PS: Digging this story, news or review? Let us know! Comments open.
