Google’s next gen smartphones will have NFC payment system

Google is said to be preparing it's own NFC payments system
NFC Technology is growing in popularity with mobile phone manufacturers including Google with the Nexus S. But now, and according to BusinessWeek, Google could be planning to launch its very own version of a mobile payments solution right under the nose of the NFC power payments revolution.
BusinessWeek has stated that this upcoming mobile payments solution would be NFC-based, and also that the system might launch as early as this year within smartphones.
This makes perfect sense as Google’s Android market share keeps growing weekly, and an NFC-based payments solution built in to the operating system would mean better ease of access to users worldwide.
However, whilst Google’s NFC foreseeable future is taking center stage right now, other smartphone companies are taking steps toward implementing the technology. Nokia has said it plans to have NFC-ready Symbian phones on the market by next year, and rumors have pointed to Apple quietly developing an iPhone-based NFC implementation for some time.
