Halo Reach Woes: Co-op mulitplayer doesn’t work on the Xbox 360 4GB

[Shock Horror]: Halo Reach requires a hard drive in order to play multiplayer co-op, an issue which Microsoft states it is ‘fixing’. The issue was initially identified by users of the 4GB Xbox 360, whereby attempts to team up on the baddies with your buddies – whether locally or via the hugely popular Xbox Live – is met with an error message saying that a HDD is required for that particular game type, which has left consumers fairly miffed to say the least.

Halo Reach is not the only version to be affected though, as the earlier Halo ODST crops up the exact same error message when played from a 4GB Xbox 360. An immediate fix one would presume would be to expand the memory via usb, using an external drive, however during testing from consumers this has proved innefective. Microsoft has acknowledged the issue however, and is working as we speak on a fix for it. In the meantime, i’d recommend destroying the bad guys in regular mulitplayer modes.
