Heart-Shaped phone / gaming system concept
This is the Okid’s heart shaped phone and gaming console all in one. It is aimed completely at children between the ages of 5-4 and would be made of some incredibly tough plastic which would have to withstand a kid throwing it onto the ground (looks flimsy though doesn’t it). Waterproofing would also be a good feature to add as would some sort of silicone casing for it.
At first the Okid looks like a normal phone (well not entirely) but it does have a small screen and call / reject button. Then WHAM! all of a sudden it turns into a hand held gaming console at the twist of a hand. I have tried to input some configurations into CAD at home however my results were a little un-inspiring. I suppose I could get this to work after some time on the ol’ screen.
Designed by Sung-Kyu Nam this concept apparently is ‘just’ a concept, and whilst my inner child would have loved to twist and handle some sort of interactive toy / device my adult side tells me it looks hand-cramping.
Ahh its staying a concept: There is a god out there after all.
